If you're planning a meeting, wedding, or other special life celebration, you'll be happy that you held it at Centennial House. Couples or families planning outdoor weddings or events of up to 150 guests will find the combination of the house and grounds a wonderful venue in summer and early fall.

From the Garden Room, French doors open directly onto the 2-acre terraced lawn with 16' gazebo. Together, the Garden Room, gazebo, and a second terraced lawn featuring a wedding arbor can be used in combination with a 40'x 60' tent to create a wonderful outdoor setting for your special event.

Smaller, more intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners and showers for up to 30 guests can be accommodated indoors in the Garden Room at any time of year.

Our Great Room, Garden Room, and two smaller comfortable indoor spaces can also be reserved separately or in combination for retreats, seminars, corporate and civic meetings, family and alumni reunions, memorial services and other functions.

The Great Room resembles an old New England tavern with a huge hearth, hand-hewn beams, and a pickled pine ceiling. The bright and airy Garden Room overlooks spectacular sunsets, rolling lawns, and distant hills. Seating can be arranged with round or rectangular tables for small dinners, luncheons or teas, or in audience style and meeting formats for classes and business events. Together, these two rooms can seat up to 46 guests for a sit-down event and up to 60 for cocktail style gatherings. Catering and other vendors can be arranged to help set the right tone and ambiance for your event.
