Northfield Room - Strawberry Banke - Sturbridge Room - Plimoth Room - Deerfield Room/Suite

Each of our guest rooms and function spaces introduces guests to some of the people and places that make New England such an important destination for travelers and students alike -- Northfield, Deerfield, Strawberry Banke, Plimoth, Mystic Seaport, the Pocumtuc Valley, Emily Dickinson and more. Each is decorated in a style reminiscent of that historic area or person, with prints, furniture, artwork and craft items highlighting that era.

Northfield Room

With its queen-size four-poster bed, Federal-era décor and working fireplace, the Northfield Room combines classic New England design with modern comfort. The large private bath has a deep tub for long soaks and a shower for freshening up after a brisk morning walk through the village. For parents and students or three people traveling together, the adjoining Emily Room, featuring an antique sleigh bed, may be included to form a handy suite.

Reserved either singly or together, both rooms offer cable TV.

Strawberry Banke

Sturbridge Room

This large, elegant room features a queen size brass bed, space for reading or watching TV and a sparkling, well-appointed private bath with oversized, walk-in shower. Relax in a pile of pillows while viewing spectacular sunsets over the rolling lawns and distant hills. A working fireplace tucked under an eave connects you to the history and charm of the house and area.

Parents and students or several adults traveling together may wish to combine Sturbridge Room with an adjoining room located on the opposite side of the bath to create a charming and unique suite.
		The optional room, which makes excellent use of an unusual space, features charming decor, one full bed and one twin four poster bed and a reading/TV viewing area.

Plimoth Room

Located in the traditional New England "ell" in the house, the Plimoth Room offers quiet and privacy. Nestled on the second floor beside a shady grove, it is an ideal, soothing retreat for one, two or three people.

The Plimoth Room features a cozy antique full size bed and a twin four-poster bed tucked into its own charming nook. Decorated in white, green and lavender, the room is cozy and comfortable. When reserved separate from the Sturbridge Room, the Plimoth Room has a full private bath across the hall.

This room can be paired with the Sturbridge Room for two rooms and two baths, accommodating up to five people.

Deerfield Room/Suite

Elegant enough to be a bridal or anniversary suite, but comfortable for a family of four, the Deerfield Room and Suite, with its attached whirlpool-equipped spacious bath, offers flexibility, comfort and a very special lodging experience. The master bedroom features a king-size four poster bed with pillowtop mattress, a vaulted ceiling, electric fireplace and a spectacular view of the western hills. The large and airy private bath features a two-person whirlpool tub and separate shower.

The second room in the suite features two twin beds with pillowtop mattresses, TV and great views.
